About the role

As a Project Executive, you will serve as a leader and strategist for the Seattle Commercial Market Sector, with an emphasis on large-scale ground-up and complex commercial construction. You will build trusted relationships with clients, design partners, trade partners, and Lewis teams while providing executive leadership to multiple project teams from pursuit and preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

The primary functions of this role include client development, people leadership, safety, contracts and risk management, preconstruction, construction management, and financial acumen. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute strategies for obtaining new project opportunities
  • Lead project teams to achieve strong project outcomes and high levels of team performance
  • Lead, promote, and ensure compliance with Lewis and industry safety policies
  • Negotiate owner contract terms and oversee subcontract negotiations
  • Partner with Estimating and Preconstruction to deliver estimates, value analysis, and other preconstruction services
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
  • Manage the financial performance of assigned contracts to protect client and Lewis interests

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial construction management experience overseeing multiple, multi-million-dollar projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale ground-up commercial construction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high levels of performance in safety, cost, schedule, quality, and client service
  • Proven ability to lead all aspects of construction operations and sales
  • Working knowledge of BIM and proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business development capability, and a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
  • OSHA 10 certification

Pay

The salary for this role is $190,000-$230,000.
