The Project Executive holds ultimate responsibility and ownership for multiple projects and/or sectors throughout the entire project lifecycle. This is a senior leadership position for a commercial construction professional with strong experience leading and developing teams. This is an in-office position based at our Lynchburg, VA Headquarters, with regular travel to project sites in Central Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Holds total ownership for construction execution across an assigned portfolio of projects ensuring each meets design intent, budget, and schedule commitments.
• Leads pursuit strategy for new client relationships and stewards existing ones.
• Mentors Project Managers, Superintendents, and emerging leaders, building the bench for the company's continued growth.
• Sets and enforces standards for schedule, quality, safety, financial performance, and client experience across all assigned projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Building Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of field construction management experience at a senior management level, including managing projects exceeding $40M.
• Demonstrated experience across preconstruction, field supervision, and project management.
• Must possess working knowledge of or a willingness to learn: Outlook, Word, Excel, Bluebeam, ProjectSight, and Viewpoint.
• Ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 25lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit.
• Ability to withstand confined spaces and/or extreme heights while negotiating tasks safely.
• Subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location.
