About the role
The Project Executive is the cornerstone of IMC Construction's project delivery model. They own the full lifecycle of major projects, from pursuit through completion and beyond, ensuring alignment between client expectations, operational execution, and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects end-to-end, from early pursuit and preconstruction through execution and warranty
- Ensure projects meet or exceed financial, operational, and client expectations
- Build and lead high-performing teams by developing staffing strategies, aligning the right people to projects, and mentoring team members at all levels
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability
- Oversee cost management, scheduling, reporting, and project controls
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, IMC standards, and safety programs
- Leverage technology and innovation to improve project outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 20+ years of progressive construction leadership experience (or equivalent)
- Deep knowledge of estimating, scheduling, cost control, and contracting
- Proven ability to lead large, complex projects and teams
- Strong business development and relationship management skills
- Executive presence with strong communication and presentation skills
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on results and accountability
