Project Execution - Project Manager - Advanced

Location: Jersey City, NJ. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project task estimation, resource scheduling, risk and issue management, and stakeholder management and a proven ability to deliver projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies while managing scope, schedule, budget, and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project planning and execution across Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
• Develop detailed work breakdown structures and determine critical path to manage timelines and dependencies.
• Estimate tasks and resources, build schedules, and optimize allocation to meet delivery targets.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues with clear action plans and ownership.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decisions through structured communications.
• Oversee budget and financials, including business case development, forecasting, and benefits realization tracking.
• Prepare and deliver concise executive communications and status reports for senior management.
• Coordinate across teams within the same organization and enable resource sharing across related projects.

Requirements

5+ years of project management experience delivering complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in project planning tools and techniques, including WBS and critical path method.
• Demonstrated capability in risk and issue management with measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including executive reporting.
• Experience managing budgets, financial forecasts, and benefits realization with solid business case development.

Skills

• Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (preferred).
• Experience operating in hybrid delivery models across multiple concurrent projects (preferred).

Pay

$70/hr (W2)
