About the role

This is where you come in. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and complete estimates for projects while effectively collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate & Complete Estimate Development
  • Develop detailed estimates that fully capture the project's scope
  • Thoroughly review plans, specifications, and relevant documents to ensure precision and completeness
  • Conduct site visits as needed to gather critical data and assess project requirements
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather insights for accurate estimates
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and clients to ensure everyone is aligned on expectations
  • Confidently present estimates to stakeholders and address any questions or concerns
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to enhance estimating practices
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions through strong business acumen
  • Contribute to improving estimating methodologies and tools
  • Utilize advanced estimating software and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards throughout the estimating process
  • Participate in continuous learning to enhance your estimating skills and expertise
  • Build a strong understanding of construction trades, techniques, and best practices to improve estimate accuracy
  • Collaborate with trade professionals to ensure estimates reflect real costs and timelines
  • Identify potential risks in trades and incorporate them into your estimates

Benefits

Compensation: $104,000 to $136,000 Annually
