What To Expect

Our work is fast-paced, hands-on, and essential. Every role at Traffic Engineering Services plays a vital part in keeping Mid-Atlantic roadways, job sites, and events safe, compliant, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current customer relations and grow new customer list
• Make and receive calls, emails, and text messages to customers about all projects and scheduling
• Provide accurate quotes and pricing based on TES cost structure
• Work with the Dispatch team to get work scheduled and maintained
• Create jobs and tickets
• Research, maintain, and coordinate vendors to supply project/site materials
• Follow up with customer's job and invoicing
• Attend networking events and client meetings (may require off-hours)
• Answer phone calls and emails outside of normal business hours

Requirements

• Knowledge of Traffic Control (preferred), or the ability to learn various regional standards regarding traffic control
• Strong computer skills
• Sales experience
• Mathematical skills and understanding of cost structure
• Managing and organizational skills
• High School Diploma

Physical Requirements

This is a general description of the physical requirements for the position. The Estimator must be able to:

• Stand and sit for long periods to manage duties and tasks
• Travel to jobsites for inspection and compliance
• Bend or kneel occasionally
• Lift and/or carry at least 40 pounds unassisted
• Use fine motor skills to operate keyboards, computers, phones, and file documents
• Have good hearing, sight, and voice (corrective/supportive devices acceptable where necessary)
