About the role
The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing projects across multiple Refresco facilities within the assigned region. This role involves managing resources, timelines, and budgets while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to health and safety policies, GMPs, and wear required PPE in warehouse and production areas.
- Ensure adherence to food quality and safety standards.
- Execute medium to large scale projects such as line upgrades, process upgrades, new marketing initiatives, and building extensions.
- Develop and manage regional budgets, write projects, and manage suppliers.
- Communicate with all departments to ensure efficient project execution.
- Provide technical support and drive equipment and line performance optimization.
- Lead root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Define and standardize optimal line operating conditions.
- Influence preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Ensure compliance with OHSA and environmental regulations.
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and third-party resources involved in projects.
- Facilitate procurement of materials and equipment for projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- PMP certification preferred; Lean or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
