Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work and contract cost estimates
- Multi-disciplinary team coordination and devising alternative approaches and solutions to problems
- Engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction, and delivery phases for treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, odor control systems, water wells, and other utility water systems
- Municipal and facility master planning, evaluation, rehabilitation, and expansion
- Building and maintaining relationships between project teams and collaborating to ensure technical, quality, cost, and client requirements are implemented
- Coordinating with outside sub-consultants
- Preparing a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders
- Works closely with project team and mentoring to junior staff
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience
- Tools such as: AutoCAD, technical writing, technical presenting, water & wastewater conveyance or treatment design experience (i.e. pump stations, lift stations, wastewater treatment plants, water line, sewer line)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering discipline
- Texas Professional Engineer registration or ability to become one within 6 months of hire date
