Project Engineer- Water/ Wastewater

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates related to water/wastewater and linear projects.
  • Help develop the project scope and fee for services and assist the project team in communicating with the client and meeting contractual obligations.
  • Design and maintain ongoing progress of a project, including coordination with local, state, and federal officials, and other outside agencies.
  • Supervise the work of technical support personnel assigned to the project.
  • Design and plan treatment facility, raw water intakes, water distribution lines, booster pump stations, regional water planning, water system mapping and management plans, lift stations, sanitary sewer system planning and design, asset management planning, and various permitting activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of water / wastewater experience.
  • PE licensure or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license.
