About the role

We're seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our Water team in Hyannis, Massachusetts. You'll play a key role in delivering impactful water, wastewater, utility, and infrastructure projects throughout the region.

Responsibilities

  • Support and prepare technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates, and permitting packages
  • Contribute to project delivery strategies, job management plans, and quality assurance processes
  • Collaborate with CAD designers to develop high-quality design and construction documents
  • Conduct field investigations and condition assessments to identify process needs and practical solutions
  • Contribute to environmental studies, specifications, and construction schedules
  • Support pricing, scoping, and marketing efforts for new and existing clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • EIT certification preferred
  • Experience supporting Water/Wastewater traditional and/or alternative delivery projects, including the development of scope, schedule, and budget, and the subsequent monitoring of cost and schedule
  • Focus on client service; prior water and wastewater design experience with local municipalities a plus, especially wastewater collection system and pump station design
  • Devise approaches to problem resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Willing and able to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed

Qualifications

  • Personal Capability Building: Participate in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training and coaching, and gain or maintain external professional accreditation
  • Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals

Pay

$77,600-$129,400 based on experience and location
