About the role
CPH is seeking a mid-level licensed Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater to lead design, development, and implementation of water/wastewater projects. This full-throttle role offers immediate impact on projects, clients, and team growth, with a focus on signing and sealing projects. The position supports water/wastewater design, project management, client relations, and compliance with engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for water/wastewater projects.
- Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to ensure proper completion.
- Design and prepare plans, specifications, and calculations for pipelines, lift stations, and water/wastewater treatment system components.
- Identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies with senior staff.
- Ensure project safety compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, schedules, and status updates.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 5–7 years of experience in water/wastewater design (pipeline, lift station, or treatment).
- Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Deltek Vision, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and design tools.

Work Environment
