Project Engineer - Water Resources
About the role
Builds infrastructure solutions to support communities' growth and prosperity. Supports the Water Resources team and collaborates across disciplines including Stormwater, Flood Mitigation, Stream Stabilization, Wastewater, and Potable Water.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of water resources projects (stormwater, flood mitigation, stream stabilization)
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
- Collaborate across Water Resources, Wastewater, and Potable Water teams
- Auxiliary in master planning efforts and long-term solutions
- Conduct field visits and support construction activities
- Communicate with project teams, clients, and contractors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- 4+ years of experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Experience with GIS, Civil 3D, and/or Revit preferred
Qualifications
Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety are essential. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also crucial.
