Project Engineer- Water Design Build

Support our Design-Build water clients across the U.S. and have a hand in transforming tomorrow. As the Water/Wastewater Project Engineer, you will have the chance to protect one of our planet’s most precious resources. You’ll work full time onsite with the Jacobs design-build team, vendors and subcontractors to schedule and coordinate work between trades while ensuring technical documentation (submittals, RFIs, design changes, and record documents) is up to date.
Responsibilities
- Work with vendors, subcontractors and Engineering to achieve timely submittal approval
- Coordinate RFIs to resolution with the assistance of the Engineering team
- Expedite equipment to ensure on time delivery
- Cookordinate and maintain the schedule associated with responsible scope
- Manage and maintain as-built drawings and documentation
- Assist with monthly cost projections for subcontractors and vendors
- Support project plan implementation for quality, change management, and safety
- Create and distribute meeting agendas, attend meetings, take notes and publish notes and action item lists
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Project Engineering experience within water/wastewater
- Bachelor of Science in an applicable field
- Construction project internships/experience
- Working knowledge of construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $160,800.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
