Project Engineer, Structural
Responsibilities
- Aid in project management, from concept to bid and construction phases.
- Coordinate project design and execution, adhering to project budgets and schedules.
- Support project financials by managing work effort and ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare documents.
- Contribute to project quality systems as outlined in guidelines.
- Maintain client relations and attend meetings as needed.
- Monitor construction sites to ensure project progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to perform hand calculations and back up results from engineering software models.
- Prior experience with STAAD.Pro, SAP 2000, RISA, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, AutoCAD, Civ 3D, Revit, and Marine/Dam experience are preferred.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE).
Qualifications
