Responsibilities
- Support the planning, design, and delivery of structural engineering projects for commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential buildings.
- Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and related documentation.
- Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers.
- Support construction administration activities, including shop drawing review, RFIs, and field observations.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Contribute to maintaining high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Engage in mentorship and professional development opportunities, progressively taking on greater project responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree a plus).
- 5 years of structural engineering experience in a consulting environment.
- PE license in NJ.
- Working knowledge of building codes and structural analysis/design software.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, and skill set.
