Project Engineer-Solar

About the role

Juno Beach, FL 33408. Remote work is okay. We're looking for a Project Engineer-Solar on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Use your experience applying value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems, along with thorough knowledge of the various applicable engineering disciplines including electrical, structural, civil, and materials.
• Have outstanding verbal and written skills, along with a record of coordinating project team members and mobilizing teams of engineers to achieve team goals.
• Have experience managing schedules and budgets for major capital projects.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum - Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Discipline can be electrical, civil, mechanical, aerospace or chemical.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience. Exceptions can be made for less than 5 years if that experience is a good match.
• Engineering and project management experience on utility scale solar projects is preferred.
• Engineering and project management in the following fields may also be considered:
• DG/commercial solar
• Other technologies in the power industry – wind, BESS, combined cycle, nuclear, hydrogen, substation, transmission, etc
• Strong candidates with experience outside of the power industry (aerospace, civil/stormwater, etc)

Pay

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $55.00/hr. to $60.00/hr.
