Project Engineer, Site Development

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering design calculations and construction plans to directly support site development projects including site grading, stormwater, utility design, and details.
• Prepare written drainage and utility reports.
• Analyze survey plans, reports, and other data collected to design projects.
• Forecast and adhere to project timelines.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create designs.
• Collaborate with state, local, and federal jurisdictions for permitting.
• Additional related duties as needed.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of land or site development experience; proven understanding of land development, stormwater and, utility design
  • Active Tennessee PE or ability to achieve by reciprocity within 6 months
  • Experience in site design, entitlements, and permitting with local jurisdictions
  • Proven understanding of permitting process, codes, and criteria
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Backgroun in turnkey site design in either residential, multi-family, or commercial
  • Knowledge of green infrastructure and LID
