Project Engineer - Shipyards

About the role

The Project Engineer - Shipyards is responsible for designing, coordinating, and managing shipyard projects. This role requires a strong background in naval architecture and engineering, with experience in project management and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and specifications
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Oversee the procurement process for materials and equipment
• Manage project timelines and budgets
• Prepare and review technical reports and drawings
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
