Project Engineer - Seattle

About the role

An established commercial construction company is seeking an experienced estimator to join its dynamic team. This role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing conceptual, budgetary, and hard bid estimates for commercial construction projects.

• Prepare and review conceptual, budgetary, and hard bid estimates.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, subcontractor proposals, and bid documents.
• Establish estimating standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Mentor and develop estimating staff while fostering collaboration and accountability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Strong background estimating commercial construction projects.
• Previous experience leading or managing estimating teams.
• Experience with commercial construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including:

• Base Salary: $125,000 – $160,000
• Performance-based annual bonus
• Vehicle allowance ($1,200/month) plus mileage reimbursement
