Responsibilities
- Conceptual, preliminary and detailed design for transportation projects
- Development and mentoring of staff
- Handling pressure and working under tight deadlines
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Developing scopes of work, fee proposals, cost estimates
- Client communication, budget tracking and monthly invoicing with status reports
- Coordination with state and federal regulatory agencies
- Oversight and management of staff working on various tasks (including subconsultant)
- Direct and manage project execution including adherence to scopes, budgets, schedules and implementing quality control procedures
- Participation in business development in the preparation of marketing materials and proposals
- Support on development and maintenance of sales materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered PE in the state of Texas
- 8+ years of experience in transportation engineering and managing projects
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Experience mentoring staff is a plus
