Project Engineer (New Grad December 2026)

An entry-level role for engineers new to the field, focused on learning the industry and supporting various phases of project engineering under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple projects and quotations across concepting, application research, sales support, estimating, component selection, conveyor system design, and ACAD layouts.
• Assist with AutoCAD drawings, quotes, spare parts orders, and general design tasks.
• Improve project execution processes (e.g., Gantt charts, continuous improvement initiatives).
• Resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction with support teams.
• Assist with site installation, including material inventory, schedule tracking, and subcontractor supervision.
• Work directly with Project Managers as an assistant on large, complex projects.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of material handling equipment, suppliers, and applications.
• Provide customer support for ongoing and warranty projects.
• Travel approximately 30% overnight (expenses covered by Toyota Automated Logistics).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• Demonstrated leadership skills and strong technical problem-solving ability (hardware, controls).
• Strong scheduling and organizational skills.
• Interest in the Supply Chain Automation and Logistics Software industry.
• Experience with AutoCAD and AutoMod or similar software.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA long-term without sponsorship.
• Adherence to information security policies, including protecting confidential data, completing required training, and reporting security incidents.
