Responsibilities
- Leading strategic project discussions and aligning team to meet quality and deadlines.
- Diving into problem-solving, managing budgets, refining proposals, and identifying new opportunities.
- Motivating team to convert challenges into wins.
- Providing interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serving as a technical leader.
- Serving as a single point of contact for assigned projects and fostering working relations with clients.
- Managing client interactions and negotiating/project scope to meet client and company satisfaction.
- Planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to established schedule and within budget.
- Understanding project schedules, project management plans, and managing project staff to meet project requirements.
- Formulating/delivering detailed project reports.
- Understanding project financials and reporting regularly to management on financial status and overall project performance.
- Working with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical engineering proposals.
- Aggressively supporting marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up.
Qualifications
- Design Engineering experience with modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc., in power facilities.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering (or related) OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience.
- PE license strongly preferred.
- Adequate organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
- Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
- Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
- Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks.
Pay
Compensation Range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
