Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Project Engineer (L3) with a focus on composite component design and manufacturing. This role offers significant autonomy and variety, with responsibilities ranging from project conception to production. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees/asylum seekers.
What you get to do!
- Interfacing with customers to gather requirements and create estimates
- Collaborative design with customers and manufacturing personnel
- Lead multi-departmental project planning and design review meetings
- Generate CAD and drawings required for part and tooling chain
- Generate production support documentation such as ply kits and lamination instructions
- Specify required materials, BOM generation
- Define and maintain project timelines
- Monitor project costs
- Manufacturing support
What you will bring to the Team
- BS or MS in an Engineering Field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, etc.)
- 6+ years of experience in composite component design and manufacturing, with aerospace experience preferred
- Strong project management skills, including scoping, scheduling, and communication
- Ability to build relationships with customers and internal leadership
- Self-motivated with strong personal workload management
- Successful management of multiple projects, scheduling, and scoping
- Experience in mold design, DFM, fixturing, and work instruction development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
- High-level proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software
- High-level user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with ERP systems, workflows, and ISO/AS environments
