Project Engineer IV
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, review engineering designs, and ensure compliance with program specifications
- Collaborate with program management and multidisciplinary engineering teams to aid in the creation and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule
- Support Program Managers in the development, analysis, and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Estimates to Complete (ETCs) related to engineering scope, staffing, schedules, and technical execution
- Participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), EAC reviews, and executive-level program reviews to provide technical and programmatic insight to senior leadership and customers
- Support proposal activities for new business opportunities, including technical scope development, basis of estimate creation, resource planning, and schedule development
- Support Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and other contract modification efforts through technical assessment, cost/schedule impact analysis, and cross-functional coordination
- Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid schedule delays and cost overruns
- Oversee the system integration of all subsystems including RF, DC, Digital, and Mechanical components
- Ensure all subsystems function together and meet performance criteria
- Communicate with program management on the status of technical progress through each critical milestone from program kickoff to program closeout
- Act as the technical point of contact for all stakeholders to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely manner and customer expectations are met and/or exceeded
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
- OR twelve (12) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
- OR six (6) years of experience may be considered with a Masters Degree.
- OR three (3) years of experience may be considered with a PhD.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Security Clearance.
