Project Engineer Intern - Summer of 2027

About the role
As a Project Engineering Intern at Boldt, you will work side by side with project engineers, superintendents, and craft professionals to support the successful delivery of projects. In this role, you will assist in gathering, evaluating, and coordinating the information needed to ensure work is completed in alignment with contract documents. You will actively participate in project planning, safety planning, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination. You will also support the team by contributing to key project processes, including RFIs, submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and project close-out activities. Through hands-on involvement and collaboration, you will gain valuable experience in project execution while building strong relationships across the team.

Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, evaluating, and coordinating information to ensure work aligns with contract documents
- Participate in project planning, safety planning, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination
- Support key project processes, including RFIs, submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and project close-out activities
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program
- Preferred majors/concentrations in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields
- Evidence of high academic achievement with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred
- Passion and desire to work in the construction industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to work optimally with minimum supervision

- Prior work experience, internship, or trade experience (preferred but not required)

Pay
$21 to $25 per hour
