This role is responsible for leading and executing engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Day-to-day tasks include developing project scopes, plans, and schedules; coordinating with internal teams and external contractors; and preparing technical documentation and reports. The Project Engineer III will oversee electrical and mechanical systems design and integration, support equipment installation and commissioning, and troubleshoot technical issues in plant operations. The role also involves monitoring project performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.Qualifications Strong project engineering and project management skills, with experience in project planning and execution.Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industrial systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and contractors.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent relevant experience.Experience in heavy industry, steel, or similar manufacturing settings is preferred.Proficiency with project management software and standard engineering tools; familiarity with CAD and industrial automation is a plus.Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and adherence to regulatory and company standards.
