Project Engineer III
About the role
Pratt Miller is a product development company serving motorsports, defense, and mobility industries. We provide clients with product engineering and low-volume production solutions through our research & development, engineering, prototype manufacturing, test & validation, and low-rate production capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular meetings with team leads, stakeholders, and clients to ensure program and project requirements are met on schedule.
- Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.
- Maintain budgets as necessary and adjust according to needs as they arise.
- Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals to meet contract requirements.
- Document and report project progress to team leads, stakeholders, and clients.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years post-graduation employment experience.
- Basic understanding of engineering program processes.
- Desired specialized skills and knowledge: Proficient in MATLAB and/or other relevant surfacing-capable CAD software, basic understanding of CAD mechanical design software (e.g. - Creo, NX, CATIA), experience with vehicle-based prototype manufacturing environments (Motorsports, Defense, or Automotive).

Pay
$91,500.00 - $148,100.00
Schedule
Working primarily in an office environment. Occasional work with manufacturing (support) and outside in an austere testing environment.
