Project Engineer II - Substation (Multiple Locations)

Description

Project Engineer II performs a variety of routine tasks, providing experience and familiarity with engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs. This role works under close supervision but is expected to have some level of independence with required engineering tasks.

We are looking to fill this position for the following offices: Baltimore, Baton Rouge, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Summerville.

Requirements

• Aid in developing plans, specifications, and inspection reports.
• Aid in preparing material lists and labor contracts.
• Aid with preparing designs and construction drawings for Solar/Wind Farm, Battery Storage, substation, and utility interconnection projects, including AC/DC, low/medium/high voltage systems.
• Support and contribute to a company-wide safety culture by adhering to safety standards, policies, and best practices, ensuring a safe environment for employees, clients, and the public.
• Direct and assist designers and CAD operators on their assigned teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Two to five years of relevant experience required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.
• Pass of Professional Engineer (PE) exam is preferred.
