About the role
We are seeking a Project Engineer II to support generation projects in Colorado. This role involves managing projects from initiation to closeout, coordinating various activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage capital and operational projects from initiation through closeout
- Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
- Cookordination engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
- Source and coordinate contractors and vendors to support project execution
- Ensure contractor compliance with safety requirements, project specifications, and company standards
- Oversee project-related safety activities, including lockout/tagout processes and job-site safety compliance
- Participate in plant and project meetings, including Plan of Day (POD) meetings
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to support project goals
- Track project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve project-related issues
- Use project management and work management systems to support project execution and reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and OSHA safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- 3+ years of experience managing projects in industrial, manufacturing, utility, or energy environments
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $65.00/hour to $70.00/hour.

This role is hybrid, based in Denver, CO.
