Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in developing, preparing, and finalizing project schedules.
- Procure and submit all project submittal information and manage the approval process.
- Assist with subcontract requirements, contract documents, and change orders administration.
- Cover communications and correspondences from owners, general contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring project quality control procedures are followed.
- Coordinate job closeouts in a proper and efficient manner, staying informed of the Project Manager.
- Resolve conflicts with clients and customers, recording all relevant information in the Project Control/Document Control System with targeted task completion dates.
- Review job costs with the Project Manager, managing shop drawings throughout the project specification, general contractor review, and final installation to the field.
- Follow up on shop drawing changes and schedule changes or delays, releasing materials in a timely manner and coordinating deliveries.
- Visit jobsites as needed, understanding the jobsite environment and reviewing job progress.
- Keep a Shortage and Breakage Log and reorder materials as necessary.
- Prepare operation and maintenance manuals, guarantees, and submit them according to specifications.
- Aid in preparing monthly billings, cost projections, and weekly logs.
Safety Responsibilities
- Manage and implement ISEC Safety requirements, promoting a positive safety culture.
- Coach employees needing improvement and assign tasks to qualified individuals.
- Promptly correct recognized safety deficiencies.
- Report all injuries and incidents to Managers and the Safety Department.
- Plan and coordinate deliveries to the job site following safe and best practices.

Education/Experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field, 3-6 years of experience meeting Project Engineer I minimum qualifications.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Intermediate knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes, and projects; earns trust and takes ownership of projects, results, and customer service; confidently presents self to internal stakeholders and external customers; takes responsibility for vendor and customer relationships; understands jobsite environment and reviews progress with minimal supervision; leads assignments and special projects from start to finish; functions autonomously most of the time; makes strategic and critical decisions; navigates and mitigates risks; initiates and maintains relationships with key staff and other departments; contributes significantly beyond project scope; assists in the development and mentoring of Level I.
