Responsibilities
- Ensure the complete scope of work purchased by the customer is accurately communicated, ordered, and delivered in full
- Serve as the liaison between the customer, sales team, and equipment factories to troubleshoot and address technical issues and customer questions
- Effectively communicate with the customer to determine project timelines, scheduling, and required ship dates
- Responsible for the accuracy of the project financials from job costing through customer invoicing
- Aid the sales team with technical expertise in the selection/application of standard and/or modified products
- Create professional, technical submittal documents in accordance with the project drawings, specifications, and scope of work sold for submission to the customer
- Maintain the submittal approval process to minimize impact to the overall project schedule
- Provide prompt, accurate responses to sales inquiries regarding special applications, systems, or pricing
- Interface with sales team for technical solutions, including the use of Daikin energy analyzer and acoustics software, as required
- Partner with sales leader to measure, analyze, and update progress on department financial goals and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with Application Engineering and Technical Response Groups efforts to provide pre- and post-sales support
- Process and execute orders in compliance with the project drawings, specifications, and scope of work sold
- Manage the post-sale process from shipping, start-up requests, warranty issues through project close out
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- 2-4+ years of experience in engineering projects
- EIT or PE License (Preferred)
- Previous Commercial HVAC experience
- Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills
