Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in developing, preparing, and finalizing project schedules.
- Procure and submit all project submittal information and manage the approval process.
- Aid in the administration of subcontract requirements, contract documents, and change orders.
- Coordinate communications and correspondences from owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures during the construction process.
- Aid in the completion of project closeouts in a timely and efficient manner.
- Resolve conflicts with clients and customers.
- Record all relevant information in the Project Control/Document Control System with deadlines for tasks.
- Review job costs with the Project Manager.
- Manage shop drawings throughout the project, including general contractor reviews and final installations.
- Follow up with internal and external customers regarding shop drawing changes and schedule adjustments or delays.
- Release materials in a timely manner and coordinate deliveries.
- Visit jobsites as needed; understand the jobsite environment and review progress.
- Maintain a Shortage and Breakage Log and reorder materials as necessary.
- Prepare operation and maintenance manuals, guarantees, and submit them according to specification requirements.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly billings, cost projections, and weekly logs.
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 0-3 years of experience.
- Minimum Qualifications: 0-3 years of experience; basic knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes, and projects; understanding of project plans and specifications; ability to work independently at times; willingness to seek guidance for complex issues; engagement in company culture; open to feedback and flexible to change; proficiency in MS Office Suite; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong prioritization and organizational skills; strong sense of accountability; ability to create personal connections with customers; positive attitude.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this Project Engineer I position is $72,049 - $92,868 per year. Actual compensation is based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity, in accordance with the Illinois Equal Pay Act and applicable pay transparency laws.
