The Project Engineer is an entry-level position responsible for various aspects of project management, including financial responsibilities, pre-construction services, project start-up and scheduling, project administration, coordination, and close-out. They also promote client and subcontractor relations.
Responsibilities
- Perform project financial responsibilities
- Provide pre-construction services
- Assist with project start-up and scheduling
- Manage project administration, coordination, and close-out
- Coordinate the timely delivery of materials
- Maintain schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability, and compliance with the company's safety culture of Zero Harm
- Assist with promoting client and subcontractor relations
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Construction Management degrees preferred) or equivalent experience in a commercial general contractor setting
- Preferred Experience: One to three years of previous work experience, familiarity with RFIs, change orders, submittals, and punch-lists, and proficiency in preparing sub-contractor meeting minutes
Qualifications
- Internship or equivalent experience with a commercial general contractor
- Proficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools such as email, the internet, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)

Pay
The base compensation range for the Project Engineer role is $90,000 - $97,000 annually. The actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
Schedule
The Project Engineer position requires some travel to projects in the Central, Northwestern, and Southeastern portions of Washington State or Oregon.
