Project Engineer - Elkton, KY Onsite
About the role
The Project Engineer provides engineering support to manufacturing by installing new systems, maintaining, and improving existing systems at Flexcon. This role is based at the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Design components, systems, and/or facilities using a computerized drafting system.
- Work on assigned engineering requests, gathering information, making recommendations, obtaining quotes, supplying specifications for equipment, obtaining approval, and purchasing materials.
- Schedule and supervise project installations.
- Evaluate and monitor completed projects.
- Update procedures and instructions as needed.
- Document project status in the computer system.
- Evaluate and review bids from prospective contractors.
- Issue contracts to contractors.
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing personnel.
- Comply with federal and state regulations; enforce procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department.
Requirements
- A 4-year Engineering Degree.
- 3-5 years of web handling/converting background and/or industrial ventilation experience (optional).
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

The posted salary range for this position is $61,150 - $102,000, based on location, experience, and other job-related factors.
