Project Engineer-Electrical PE (MEP)

Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our Buildings, Energy and Infrastructure (BEI) Group at our newest office location in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design services in support of power distribution, lighting and fire alarm design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team
• Produce electrical design/construction drawings/specifications for institutional, commercial, municipal and industrial facilities
• Interact and work directly with clients
• Conduct preliminary evaluations
• Prepare various reports
• Prepare design drawings
• Prepare technical specifications
• Prepare permit submittals for electrical engineering projects
• Manage various tasks on several concurrent projects
• Follow tasks through to completion within allocated period of time and monetary budget assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
• Four (4+) years of experience in the job offered or in Electrical Engineering or a related occupation
• Project experience with arc flash analysis and coordination studies utilizing SKM software
• Experience with drafting and analysis software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM
• OH PE registration or ability to quickly obtain through reciprocity
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record
