About the role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Building, Energy and Infrastructure (BEI) Group in our new Greenville, SC office. This position involves providing technical and design services in support of power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm projects. You will lead design projects as part of a multi-discipline team to produce electrical design/construction drawings and specifications for various facility types.
Responsibilities
- Interact and work directly with clients
- Conduct preliminary evaluations
- Prepare various reports
- Produce design drawings
- Prepare technical specifications
- Prepare permit submittals for electrical engineering projects
- Manage multiple concurrent projects
- Follow tasks through to completion within allocated time and budget
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5-15 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related occupation
- Project experience with arc flash analysis and coordination studies using SKM software
- Experience with drafting and analysis software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM
- SC PE registration or ability to quickly obtain through reciprocity
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record
