Specific Responsibilities:
Contribute to new product design and sustaining of analog, digital, RF and mixed signal electronic circuit designs for residential power systems.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to execute development tasks board validation.
Conduct hardware functional, environmental, and lifecycle validation to ensure reliability and performance.
Contribute to product safety, EMC, and environmental compliance efforts.
Participate in electrical hardware reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of product and development processes.
Support hardware troubleshooting during product development and testing.
Document electrical system design and implementation details.
Use standard electronics laboratory tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMM to analyze, debug and document proper operation of electronic circuits and systems.
Occasional development of custom electrical equipment for specialized features or functions.
Collaborate in developing electrical hardware development tasks, project timelines and budgets.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Required
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering Preferred
