Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering or alternative Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) degree
  • Project Engineering / Project Management / Program Management and/or Technical experience
  • EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and/or CAM (Control Account Management) experience
  • Experience developing and managing project/program schedules (Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or similar)
  • Experience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teams
  • Experience working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Job Description

You will be the Project Engineer Development Ground Systems - Level 4 for the F-35 Line of Business Engineering (LOBe) team within Engineering and Technology (E&T) supporting the Ground Systems Team which is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge ground system capabilities for the F‑35 program.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own day‑to‑day engineering execution for assigned programs, ensuring performance, cost, and schedule targets are met.
  • Identify issues, risks, and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies to proactively manage technical challenges.
  • Lead cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions across all Domain Excellence (DEx) teams.
  • Serve as the prime technical point of contact for complex projects, driving issues to resolution and keeping leadership informed.
  • Cookordination engineering scope across specialty teams, managing dependencies and integration risks.

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in Reprogramming Lab development lifecycles
  • Experience with project performance and metric tools such as Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), OpenPlan and Tableau
  • Experience with Risk and Opportunity management and systems such as ROADS
  • Conducting or participating in Test Planning and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR)
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
