EGC Construction, an operating unit of Messer Construction Co., is seeking a Project Engineer Co-op in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. Located in Newport, Kentucky, EGC has been serving local, regional, and international clients since 1978. The company is committed to safety and has received national safety awards.

What You Will Do

• Support our Zero-Injury Safety Program
• Provide site and building layout assistance
• Aid in the shop drawing and submittal review process
• Help with built-in quality using our three-phase quality control process
• Expedite building components and materials to maintain schedule
• Aid in change order management process
• Support document control and reporting
• Perform other duties as required

What You Will Bring

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or a related field
• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work non-traditional hours
• Possess all auditory, speaking, and communicating capabilities
• Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs., seeing, and reading

Qualifications

• Compliance with EGC’s Substance Abuse Prevention Policy as a condition of employment
