Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

About the role

Support the delivery of innovative commercial and residential land development projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design reports and analyses
• Perform code searches
• Create a complete set of contract documents
• Provide construction services including site visits and reviewing shop drawings
• Work with the project team to prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design)
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate each of the phases of the project
• Provide construction services
• Prepare stormwater calculations, assist in completing permits
• Avoid conflicts with local, county, state, and federal project codes for each project
• Work with the Ware Malcomb consultants and the client's consultants to coordinate all of the various consultants to achieve a complete, coordinated set of contract documents and specifications which will be used for permit and construction

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within the Civil Engineering field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related program is required
• A PE (Professional Engineering) license preferred
• Experience working on land / site development projects
• Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills preferred
• Excellent written and verbal skills including public speaking

Benefits

• The compensation range is $90k-$125k, plus benefits
• The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, licensing, project specialty/complexity and work location
• We may exceed the posted compensation range for candidates who surpass the posted requirements
