Responsibilities
- Aid Civil Group Leader with Design and Project Management
- Perform technical planning and design work associated with land or site development and/or municipal projects
- Develop site layouts and perform detailed design and grading to ensure efficient, compliant, and build-ready project sites
- Conduct comprehensive stormwater management design, erosion and sediment control planning, and landscape assessments to support resilient and compliant project development
- Prepare detailed entrance layout and access design plans that ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site entry and circulation
- Prepare records and construction plans for agency/municipal review
- Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
- Maintain and grow client relationships – become their trusted partner
- Interact with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client review
- Prepare construction plans for agency/municipal review along with completion and submission of various land development permit applications
Requirements
- BS degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Seven or more years of experience in land development civil-site engineering
- Professional Engineer license in Tennessee preferred
- Project Management experience preferred
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software and ArcGIS
- Demonstrated ability & experience to lead a team of engineers and designers
