Responsibilities
- Attend the project turnover meeting (estimating to operations)
- Affiliate in generating/maintaining project schedules, both cash flow and work load
- Attend job meetings
- Affiliate in setting up/managing submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor agreements
- Ensure the work, including the work of the subcontractors, is being done in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies
- Enforce the company safety program
- Affiliate in completing all project plans. Affiliate in maintaining all project related reports
- Affiliate in preparing project closing documents
- Review construction documents and compete take offs and affiliate in obtaining pricing for materials and subcontractors, including DBE subcontractors
- Affiliate in preparing CPM schedules using estimated productions
- Affiliate in attending pre-bid meetings
- Affiliate in making pre-bid site investigations
- Affiliate in assisting in preparing QA/QC plans
- Affiliate in maintaining and submitting QA/QC records in accordance with the QA/QC plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in the Construction industry, preferably with road & highway projects.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Previous experience with Procore, Build2Win, and/or P6 a plus.
- Ability to read and understand of contracts.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Detail oriented and good organization skills.
- Ability to communicate well with others, both written and orally.
- Proficient in Computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
