Responsibilities
- Support development and sustaining engineering of automated manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC programs, control systems, and HMI interfaces.
- Design and support tooling, test equipment, and production fixtures.
- Manage vendor-supplied automation equipment including specification, procurement, and qualification.
- Maintain electrical and mechanical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and revisions.
- Support manufacturing operations with troubleshooting, process improvements, and equipment uptime.
- Ensure compliance with global safety and regulatory standards.
- Clock with testing and certification bodies for product and equipment approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or 3+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Experience with automated machinery, industrial controls, or manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control panel design.
- Familiarity with PLC programming, HMI systems, and automation troubleshooting.
- Understanding of global machinery safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
