About the role
Lead Project Engineer overseeing Reactor Internals Design for nuclear reactors, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to support design, fabrication, testing, and implementation of reactor internals.
- Ensure designs meet nuclear safety and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Resolve emergent technical issues promptly.
- Coordinate technical teams and oversee project milestones.
- Adapt plans to meet objectives and analyze data for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of project management or engineering leadership experience.
- 2+ years of experience in power generation.
- Strong project planning and scheduling skills (P6 Primavera).
- Technical aptitude in engineering tools and leadership skills.
- Experience in the nuclear industry and knowledge of reactor components/regulations are highly desirable.
- Must be eligible for U.S. export-controlled information access.
- Travel up to 10% may be required.
