Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to deliver technical solutions to complex operational and radiochemical challenges
- Design and develop customer equipment solutions using engineering principles and CAD tools (SolidWorks / AutoCAD)
- Support fabrication, assembly, testing, and installation of specialized equipment
- Perform pilot-scale testing of liquid processing and chemistry-related systems
- Execute field support activities at nuclear facilities, including troubleshooting and servicing installed systems
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering analyses
- Support in-plant project execution such as: Artifact sampling, Gamma spectroscopy, Chemical feed system servicing, Sample panel integration
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline
- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access at domestic and international nuclear facilities
- Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing
- Willingness to perform hands-on work in industrial environments
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (~25-35%)
- Ability to pass alcohol and drug screening required for nuclear plant access
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
- Understanding of electrical cabling design, harnesses, and panel integration
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, machined parts, chassis or rack design
- Background in chemistry, chemical engineering, nuclear plant operations, or radiological systems
- Experience working in regulated or industrial environments

Pay Range
The expected salary range for this role is $81,440 - $101,800 in Rockdale, IL. Exact pay will be commensurate with experience.
