Responsibilities
- Support capital projects from design through startup and commissioning
- Lead process equipment installations, modifications, and facility upgrades
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and contractor activities
- Provide field support during construction, commissioning, and qualification
- Develop and review engineering documentation including URS, commissioning, and validation documents
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Validation, and Automation teams
- Drive process improvements focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency
Requirements
- Must have BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Must have at least 10 years of Process Engineering and/or Project Engineering experience
- Must have GMP - regulated or Pharmaceutical, API, biotech, fine chemical, or specialty chemical manufacturing experience
- Must have Capital project experience within a manufacturing environment
- Must have experience managing contractors and supporting construction activities
- Strong knowledge of process equipment and engineering design
- Commissioning, qualification, and validation experience
- Exposure to Process Control Systems, DCS, and/or PLC-based control systems
- Scale-up or process development experience

This person will lead equipment installations, facility upgrades, commissioning activities, and construction oversight while partnering closely with Operations, Maintenance, Validation, Quality, and Automation teams.
