Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of mechanical and electrical engineering projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Cook up equipment installations, modifications, utility upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
- Manage project activities from planning through execution, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Author, coordinate, and manage GMP change controls and related documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Validation, Quality, and external contractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Cook up field execution activities, monitor project progress, and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure projects comply with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
- Support project scheduling, documentation, risk management, and contractor oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment modifications.
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical utility systems, including: HVAC, Clean Utilities, Process Utilities, Compressed Air Systems, Water for Injection (WFI), Clean Steam Systems.
- Experience managing GMP change controls.
- Experience coordinating field execution activities and contractor management.
- Strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support capital improvement and sustaining engineering projects within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for coordinating equipment upgrades, utility modifications, field execution activities, and change control processes while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
