Project Engineer

About the role

The firm is hiring Project Engineers across all three offices to support senior engineers and project managers on technical delivery. This role is well-suited to an engineer looking to grow into project leadership while working on a range of active projects.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers with design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
• Aid in the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and permitting submittals
• Cover coordination with contractors, subconsultants, and field staff during construction administration
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables; flag risks early
• Respond to Request for Information (RFIs) and review submittals during construction
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and confirm compliance with design intent
• Support proposal development and client communications as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial are preferred
• 2-5 years of relevant experience; EIT certification preferred
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable communicating with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks and deadlines
