Project Engineer

The Project Engineer works on-site within the Project Management Team, handling contract setup, submittals, bid package assistance, change orders, and project scheduling. Responsibilities vary based on project size and complexity, requiring flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Create documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence related to contract notification provisions.
- Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Outline specifications for client submissions and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.
- Assist with project close-out processes.
- Support the Project Management Team with contract setup, bid packages, change orders, and scheduling.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience creating documentation (RFIs, client correspondence).
- 1-3 years of experience reading and understanding construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- 1-3 years of experience with project close-out.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field, or 8 years of equivalent experience.
