Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in managing day-to-day project activities and field operations.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and track Request for Information (RFI), change orders, and other project documentation.
• Coverage with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews.
• Support cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance efforts.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance on-site.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of heavy civil construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Prior experience with self-perform civil construction projects in Northern California preferred.

Additional Information

This position is located in northern California. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position does not include sponsorship for a United States work authorization. The salary range for this position is between $145,000-$180,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.
